CJ ONE Renews Mobile App to Focus on Maximizing User Convenience



 - User interface (UI) and user experience (UX) completely improved as consumer opinions were reflected through a second renewal following the first in February 2018
- CJ ONE holds an event of providing 100% CJ ONE points to consumers who update to the latest version by December 30

 [CJ ONE = December 19, 2018 (Wednesday)] CJ Group’s integrated membership service, CJ ONE, announced its showcase of a new app with reinforced information features and member convenience.

This is the second renewal following the one held last February; this time, it actively reflected user customer opinions for complete UI and UX improvements to provide more customized services.

First, the main screen of the mobile app is designed to show the main menu at one time. In particular, it shows on one screen the major information that customers seek the most, such as membership class, accumulated points, use breakdown, and ‘Benefit Stamp’ state. The entire menu became also more easily accessible. These new changes are expected to enable members to speedily check and grasp CJ ONE information and status, as well as better enjoy all kinds of benefits. 

In addition, “Brand Magazine,” a content service that CJ ONE members use frequently, has changed its name to “#Story” and will provide contents of greater value. Besides the information on the latest trends, new products, promotions, and various lifestyle and cultural contents, the “#Story” will also provide information using multimedia contents, such as photos or videos, which is a major change from the previous text-based messages. As such, it plans to entice and fully satisfy the eyes and ears of members.


In addition, a home screen has been added to allow the recommended, popular, and the latest feeds to be visible at one time. On top, features for UI optimization for more readable contents have been added. 

“We revamped the app so that members in their 20s and 30s would fully enjoy CJ Group’s various brand news,” a CJ ONE officer said. “We will continue to actively collect CJ ONE member users’ opinions so that the app would continue as a media commerce platform that represents Korea.”

In commemoration of the mobile app renewal, CJ ONE is holding the event of providing 100% CJ ONE points to consumers who update the latest version (4.1.0) by December 30. If one shares the app renewal event page with a friend, CJ ONE points will also be randomly provided from 100 points to a maximum of 10,000 points. Furthermore, 500 points will be additionally provided to a total of 2,000 members among those who scrap a story they like from #Story during the event period.
