△ Have Dinner with Your Beloved Family
CJ OliveNetworks has been operating Family Day since January 2014 to encourage employees to leave the office at a regulartime. Beginning May 2017, Family Day is now held twice a month (previously once a month) to give the employees a chance to have dinner with their beloved families.
△ Do Not Render Unnecessary Overtime Work at Night
CJOliveNetworks tries to reduce unnecessary overtime work at night to support the employees’ personal development such as creative self-learning and hobbies.
Inparticular, all lights are supposed to be turned off at 8:00 p.m., except for specified spaces at the headquarters of CJ OliveNetworks, to encourage employees from doing unnecessary overtime work at night.
CJ OliveNetworks has created a workenvironment where in employees can keep themselves focused during working hours (9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.) instead of rendering unwanted overtime work.
This order pursues the creation of an efficient workplace culture that employees can perform their work during regular hours and have their evenings spent with their families.
△ Flextime, a Smart Working HoursSystem, to Maintain Work–Life Balance
CJ OliveNetworks has implemented the flextime rule, which allows employees to freely adjust their work schedule (morning until afternoon) per department, as opposed to the traditionally fixed work arrangement (the standard 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.),since June 1, 2017.
It supports the employees’ different lifestyles such as child care and self-development.

The family-friendly certification supervised by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family is given to a company that manages a family-friendly system such as support for child birth and parenting, flextime, and the creation of a family-friendly workplace culture.
