[CJ OliveNetworks = March 26, 2019 (Tuesday)] CJ OliveNetworks’ IT Business Division (www.cjolivenetworks.co.kr, CEO Lee Kyung-bae) announced that it held a ceremony to donate IT equipment to an elementary school in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to build smart classrooms.
The donation event held on March 25 (Monday) was particularly meaningful because the division was joining CJ Group’s global CSR activities, and it was the first activity of CJ OliveNetworks’ Office in Vietnam held with a local elementary school with which it has built sisterhood relations. An IT start-up fever is sweeping Vietnam among the millennial generation, but the infrastructure and educational opportunities are far lacking that most of them are not benefiting from proper education.
