CJ OliveNetworks Given the Grand Award for the Solutions Field During the 4th Korea Big Data Awards

[CJ OliveNetworks=December 11, 2017 (Monday)] CJ OliveNetworks was given the “Ministerial Grand Award of Science and ICT in the Solutions Field” during the 4th Korea Big Data Awards.
The Korea Big Data Awards, which is currently on its 4th year, aims to recognize the contributions of remarkable companies in data-related industries and the creation of additional value using big data. It is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIP), MK News, and the MBN, managed by the Korea Big Data Services Society, and sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Statistics Korea.
The grand award follows the previous year’s “Excellence Award” for CJ OliveNetworks, which shows the growing recognition of its capabilities as a big data specialist.
Indeed, CJ OliveNetworks has invested much of its technology and capabilities in the emerging fields of technology such as big data, the IoT, and artificial intelligence (AI). Its combination of the vast data archive of the CJ Group and outside data has been cited as a new and remarkable growth model for the industry.
CJ OliveNetworks offers various analysis services for corporate clients through its big data platform and has recently embarked on the development of the “Food Materials B2B Data Trade and Mediation Platform” with sponsorship from the MSIP and the National Information Society Agency (NIA), which is slated to open in January 2018.
